Our home was destroyed in and we immediately began the process of deciding whether to rebuild or to buy an existing home. We wanted to stay on our original beautiful lake front property but were wary about the stresses and issues of building. We were referred to Heritage and in turn to Roland and Janet. From the first meeting in their own beautiful log home they put us at ease and without using the specific words told us that "we will work with you". This has been fully true and every step of the way. From initial selection, through establishing a realistic budget and a contractor; to the zoning approval and finalization of design and ordering, to the start and the various stages of the construction they have been there helping to make the process and our home easy and delightful. The combination of Roland, Janet and Heritage plus our fabulous builder has made this a great and worthwhile process.

We chose Heritage because they had a wide range of designs; the houses of their customers in the area were beautiful; and their customers were highly satisfied. The promise of professional service from Roland and Janet was really important as was their ten years in the business.

We could not have been better satisfied with the materials, dealer and service. Roland and Janet have been highly attentive to us, worked extremely well with our contractor and all along the way have helped us set realistic but high expectations and meet them.

The first courses of logs are placed, checked & double checked to assure that the corners are straight and plumb. The contractor is installing the gasket to create a tight seal.

Roof rafters are installed and will soon be ready to accept the T&G decking, R 30 foam insulation panels, 2"x4" spacers, sheathing and shingles. Note the openings for the gable dormers that are being built into the roof framing.
